Hide Away Greens Fan - Features

The Hide Away Greens Fan is the only system in the industry that fully retracts flush with finished grade when not in use. This eliminates the permanent visual impact of traditional greens fans. 

Each unit is built from fully welded 11 ga stainless steel with TIG/MIG welding and stainless hardware throughout. The capsule is 100% watertight and designed for permanent in-ground installation. 

Using fan configurations up to 50", the system delivers airflow throws up to 200 feet with 140° oscillation. When deployed, the fan discharge is positioned approximately 4 inches above the green for optimal horizontal airflow movement. 

Each capsule is delivered fully wired and UL508A compliant, with an integrated control box, three-phase breaker for mains power, and a dedicated 120VAC circuit for sump pump operation.

A dedicated 120VAC breaker powers the internal sump pump to manage incidental rainwater, allowing operation independent of the main three-phase system when required. 

Deployment is controlled via two-wire communication and can integrate with existing irrigation systems (Rain Bird, Toro) or be configured via Bluetooth or satellite, depending on site requirements. 

When retracted, the unit can be finished with a 6" natural turf pan to match surrounding grass or with synthetic turf for low-maintenance applications - maintaining consistent appearance and playability.

Existing greens fan units can be reused and integrated into the Hide Away capsule, either at our factory or on site - allowing courses to upgrade aesthetics and functionality without replacing their entire fan system. 

When fully deployed, an integrated false floor system prevents errant golf balls from falling into the fan housing, maintaining safety and protecting internal components. 

An integrated audible alarm provides advance warning prior to system deployment, alerting nearby personnel and enhancing operational safety.
